After returning from India, I made these small photography journals as a personal project, to keep the beautiful memories. For me, India is a country which always has been mesmerizing the world, by its love for arts and craft. On my journey I was lucky to experience the making of a handwoven Banarasi saree. This artform which has been around for centuries, was passed down for generations, by the craftsmen of Varanasi. This is my attempt to tell the story about the process of creating a handloom Banarasi saree. Photographs, art direction are all done by me.
